Yikes. My meds have been fine for some time now, although an insurance nightmare I can't even begin to describe has prevented me for months from seeing any outpatient provider for mental health (thanks, Medi-Cal, for not doing your job with dual-eligible HMO disenrollments and not communicating with Medicare and the third party insurers that you can't follow federal law or policy WRT such)
More on that one later, perhaps.
I'm a little puzzled about where I want to take/restart my career. Can anyone recommend some testing for well-suited occupations given my personality type or temperament? I could re-enter my previous field, but want to take a look at other things.
I could start with the CA Department of Voc Rehab or a community college counselor; just wanted your folks' opinions.

I was pretty disappointed in the vocational testing provided to me by my local V.R. around four years ago. I would also love to know if there are more thorough tests I could take for that. I am still on disability.

The VR I go to has been something of a let down. Granted, I haven't given them much to work with (been "crazy" since about 16..just now perfectly lucid), but still...its lots of classes and workshops, very little in the way of...ummm...work. Maybe its the economy?
