I stupidly filled my rx for adderall, forgetting Walgreens likes to be cheap and buy the cheapest generic on the market for everything. I checked the label, and it was corepharma. Haven't had adderall for a year, was on vyvanse, but doc wouldn't prescribe me dose equiv to 20mgx3/day (140mg of vyvanse) so I just asked for 20mg 3x/day of Adderall.
Anyway, I filled corepharma once before, it was from an independent pharmacy, and it was crap. Made me feel dirty, like it had bad fillers. I had this confirmed online, although also noticed the types of people who dwell on generic differences between meds tend to be hyperfocused and on way too much amphetamine.
Anyway, I just want to get my next fill at CVS. They use Teva I think. I usually get my scripts at cvs. Is the adderall shortage over, or did I just get lucky? I don't feel dirty on this med this time, maybe corepharma cleaned up their machines, but it doesn't feel like 20mg, even though it is. Feels more like 10mg, if that. Anyone else use corepharma before? Teva rocks.

the adderall shortage .... i don't know...may still be going on. Adderall generic or not is expensive. Check out dexedrine spansules...40mg of it is equlivelent to 60mg of adderall....
i've heard of similar stuff with generic adderall and its been posted over the years. I never really got intrested in it....but yea...

I'm not one of those people obsessing over it, I'm going to just change pharmacies next week when I get my refill script (my doc is giving me it in only 7 day supplies).
It's just annoying, because it would be nice if I got tge pleasant kick I would feel from 20mg back in the day.
I'm on medicare and medicaid, so my co-pay is $1. : )
You should try Shire cares. They'll hook you up with free Vyvanse if you're poor. I didn't need to use it because I did a prior authorization appeal through medicare, and it went through (it helped that at the time, dexedrine was unavailable, and that excuse generally gets approved). But Shire will give up to 70mg a day free-- my insurance covers up to 180mg.
Hmm. Yup, Shire cares. You should probably be on a stimulant, something more than Provigil, for anhedonia and motivation and all... I wouldn't worry about abuse. When I switched to Vyvanse, I stopped taking more than prescribed, because it was never tempting to take more later in the day, knowing that would mean I wouldn't sleep at night. Vyvanse stops being metabolized after a certain dose beyond the therapeutic dose anyhow.
Of course, that didn't stop me from taking a bunch of caffiene strips today (free samples at the bookstore) at 7PM. It's 2:07 now, time will tell if I get to sleep tonight. I wish I used better judgment. : /

ha...yea caffeine, you know they used to have gum sticks with about 70mg of it, i used chew it all the time...seriously!
glass of wine may help...yea...adderall usally does give kick...its levoamphetamine in it that gives that sharp feeling over dexamphetamine.
Yea you know the good news is im my way to soon being put on a stimulant....seriously that is good, i've written so many letters to my doctor about both my bad concentration and extremly disorganized thinking. She's moving around for the thought disorder that she says I have. Something caused all this to happen....it was trama but I can't rerember what caused thought collapse. Anyway....yea...
check out focalin XR ... its less kicky than adderall, and i hate to say dexedrine but still it gives a good focus effect. Maybe like a NRI with adderall? vary good for keeping you sharp.
