Are you taking the XR version? I'm trying to think back to my effexor days with no success.
I found that on pristq if I was late on my dose....it was bloody awful.
I hated having my mood clock as I called it being set by a med.

It's xr. I used to take it twice a day because of this, but the insurance wouldn't cover it anymore.
Why'd you stop taking it?

> The half life of this stuff is just too short.I hear you....I get the same thing with Effexor. Have you tried adding a mood stabilizer or antipsychotic? In the proper doses these can really help.

I've got lamictal, 200mgs, and low dose seroquel, but it always happens.

Hi,
I have been reading A LOT (IMHO) about negative Seroquel trials, and how the med doesn't seem to stand up well as an antipsychotic. (It seems to be best for sleep and a slight effect on depression. On the other hand, I have also read of it's propensity to increase anxiety and akathisia.) That is not to say that is doesn't work for you, but maybe check out some of the other antipsychotics. Some people seem also to do well on two antipsychotics.
Just a suggestion...and whatever you do, (you likely know) don't stop cold-turkey any of your meds.Best,
