My groin lump got big like overnight. I had it before, it was smaller then, then I took antibiotics for an unrelated mole removal and it went away.
Now it's big bigger than before! It's like an inch long! Is this bad? Is not cancer is it? I'm thinking not because it went awaay with antibiotics.
Would something like this get better on its own?

I think you should call your doctor. If it got better on antibiotics, it's probably an infection of some sort.

I had that same thing that was a cyst and ruptured by squeezing by dermatologist. I had to do same for two days. It wasn't infection though. Yours sounds like it is and haven't you been sick? If so could have localized in groin. Phillipa

Probably a swollen lymph node. A sign your body is fighting an infection.

sounds like a swollen lymph node. I have one on my neck thats been there for two years and all the doc will do is verify that its non-cancerous.
Id imagine all you can do is see if you can find a doc that will prescribe different antibiotics to kill off whatever your body is fighting.

OK, it seems to be getting smaller now even without antibiotics. I think it's OK. My body must be fighting off the infection on its own.
I don't know if it's a lymph node though. I looked at some diagrams of where they are and it doesn't look to be in the right place.
