15-30 restoril worked better for me than 10-20 ambien.

Restoril is a good drug if you have problems staying asleep throughout the night. It is less effective at putting you to sleep if you have initial insomnia.

Any benzo now puts me to sleep? Didn't used to. I've taken valium, lunesta, for some reason never temazapam? Strange if its considered the best for long sleep periods. What med are you leaning towords? Phillipa

For me I would use the Restoril. Whenever I take Ambien, I usually don't fall asleep very fast, and if I do, I'll wake up a couple hours later. I've never tried the Ambien CR.
