Is this a safe combo? I can't find any information or any post related to these 2 combined. I really miss my NAC since I started Emsam 12mg.

NAC should be safe to combine with a MAOI. I can't think of any reason why it wouldn't be. You should probably wait for some more feedback, though.

NAC is great for my OCD. It's a good antioxidant, good for bi-polar, schizophrenia, anxiety and the list of benefits continues to expand.

I actually had a psychiatrist suggest NAC. I'm treatment resistant and cycle a little, but there are times when I wonder if it is actually helping a little bit.
It is also suppose to be good for trichotillomania, but I haven't found any difference with that.

I decided to go ahead and take 500mg of NAC with Emsam... So far, no interaction. I tried 1000mg one evening and felt ok, but a little short of breath in the morning.
