I'm switching from effexor 100 mg regular to ER. I fell kinda low on energy but I know the sexual side effects are much milder on the extended release. Is it a big difference?Will it be hard to switch?

Switch should be easy - though I'm not sure that the side effects will be that much milder either.
Just take the IR one day, then the next day start taking the SR, you shouldnt get any withdrawl reactions or anything, it should be a simple and easy switch

When I was on 75 mg time release i had no sexual side effects, when I went on 100 IR i had lots. I also feel quite a difference between the two.

well, hopefully you will have no sexual side effects when you make the switch - what dose are you switching too?

From 100 IR to 100 ER , I will open the 75 mg XR and take half to equal 112.5.
