I gotta get out more. With my spotty employment record and the current economy, getting a job is out, at least for now. I'm hoping disability will come through and then maybe an employer will give me a chance, since some employers apparently get tax credits for hiring people who are officially disabled.
Other than that, I need to stop being a hermit. I'm looking into volunteer work. I was going to volunteer at a hospice before I moved here; there's a hospice around here, so maybe I could do that.
The medications are working well. Minimal anxiety; no major voices or paranoia; sleep is good; apathy and that tranquilized feeling are minimal. I do need to lose a good bit of weight.

CE glad to hear your meds are working. Hospice is a very special job and requires much compassion for others. I feel you have this quality. Thanks for responding!!!! Phillipa

Feeling anxious today, a free floating feeling of dread, despite a 1mg Xanax when I work up.
Would have liked to stay home and hidden in my room, but made my self come into work...things are chaotic and I still feel "wired" but I'm holding it together.......

I do feel I functioned best when working despite anxiety provoking situations. Congrats for working despite anxiety. Phillipa
