I'd seen a piece on 60 minutes like, 10 years ago, about a woman who counter-acted her depression with nightly baked potatoes.
I swear, I feel better within 5m of eating one. Must be all the carbs at once hitting my system, although I don't think I'd feel as good if I'd eaten a bunch of candy instead.
Could be, once again, placebo effect. Yes, I am desperate to feel better. :/

It only seems to help while I'm eating it and immediately after :-)
Must be the sugar rush... I dunno.
Hurry up and wait... depression I HATE YOU!

Man, that sounds good. I mean right now.
Wtf is right. By any means necessary, esp as something as benign and comforting as a baked potato.
My shrink and I had a good laugh once over 'the placebo affect'. Who cares? I said. He agreed. He's in it for the patient results, not the research.
Yum.
