Ibuphrophen Makes Me feel better Sudy backs up

Posted by Phillipa on January 17, 2011, at 0:08:09

Strange was given Ibuprophen for possibly avoiding a root canal at dose of 600mg for 24 hours as dentist said 600mg was antiinfammatory. Seems felt so much better next day did some googling and found cytokines and infection produce depression. Strange theory but I've had it happen before feel better when taking. Read old study and you can also experiment for one day. Phillipa

A newer Dutch study shows the involvement of inflammation:

This isn't strange at all. Cytokines, inflammation, and infection are major causes of depression. That's why more Lyme patients than not have depression, and some of them their only symptom is depression. Lyme is basically screwed up cytokines and inflammation. Inflammation from tiny buggers whose only job is to eat soft tissue and then poop and pee in your blood....talk about cytokines and inflammation! Candida overgrowth, same thing. And about a dozen other infections I am aware of, that usually go under the radar screen in the typical doctor's office.

I have noticed that if I take ibuprofen before bed, I feel better the next morning. I think most of my symptoms are "brewed" in my sleep. Somehow the ibuprofen slows down or stops the brewing. The first time I noticed it I figured it was a fluke. But I have "challenged" it enough times now in repeat experiments to know that it is for real. Certainly not a cure, but very worthy. I'll embrace anything that gives me some noticeable improvement whether it can be explained or not, and ibuprofen is one of them.

For best results, use the real stuff....Advil...not the generics. The price difference is not much.

Blue you serious? I thought it rather strange but you do know my history. Why advil longer lasting? Instead of motrin? How many mg's? I do appreciate this. As could be answer. I did try again and nothing but also changed dose of lexapro at same time. Up and down on that one. Please write me back? Phillipa
