Neurontin Neurontin Neurontin and Neurontin

Posted by tepi on January 15, 2011, at 20:23:43

Never in my 15 years of taking drugs have I felt this ... I was used to take all my meds and just feel minimal changes on my mood or feel anything.
Im trying to combat a severe social phobia , and after several meds on years ,It was time for the neurontin trial
What is happening ? I feel calm sometimes around people , I was impressed I was able to enjoy a little bit more of talk with some people , but then again I feel so high , I cant focus on anything , I dont know what else to say, my memory is in the worst condition in all my life This is a rare med but at the same something tells me to keep on it
I dont know how to handle this situation , I was taking 600mg in the morning and I was planning to increase the dose... I really dont know how to use this med . The time between each dose should be among 8 hrs? is this a med I can take only the moment I want or I need to take it daily like SSRIS and other meds?
Is Lyrica the Same to this?

Please Neurontin users give me a hand here please

(I never wrote threads this long , this med is causing me to do it , do you understand me? , is this a prosocial effect , Im very confused)

Tep, on Erowid someone was talking about how he was driving a car when on Lyrica and he got to a stop sign and waited (and waited) for it to turn green. This was not a traffic light, this was a STOP sign.

And then there was the person who got stuck in a lift because he could not work out how to leave, maybe he couldn't understand something or other, maybe he made a category error.

And Lyrica has more side effects than Neurontin.

I think you should try to be satisfied with less. If you can just minimise your social phobia some of the time, that is a real achievement. If you take enough to make you feel really comfortable with people it will likely turn you into a zombie.

I think Neurontin is likely to work better with a small dose of a benzo, and that you should try to stick with 300, although of course you will sometimes take more.

That's what I think is wisest for you, anyway.

You can take it on an as needs basis. You do not need to take it all the time unless you become addicted or dependent.

The thing is with Neurontin is that it has a reputation for tolerance developing very rapidly.

neurontin is a good drug. and you're just supposed to take it twice a day i believe.

but i get away with taking it once and for the most part am fine.

of course there's a cognitive side effect, that does seem to effect others more. especially when you combine this drug with others.
