not sure which generic to take. addforums has a poll and barr and sandoz are pretty close. Looks like barr is stronger, possibly more effictive, but sandoz is smoother, with less anxiety, although some people find the opposite is true.

Barr is owned by Teva, and they've had to do recalls before and also make a crappy wellbutrin xl, i'm skeptical of buying their stuff but maybe its worth it for the extra kick.

Take what the pharmacy has in stock, and best of luck :)

I was really obsessing all day yesterday about getting the best one. I dont wanna miss out on a med that can help cuz of a crappy generic. Anyway I could have saved myself a lot of time by just checking prices.

Local pharmacy $64 barr
CVS around $40 barr
Discount mail order pharmacy $25 Sandoz
Looks like I am getting sandoz

If it's going to be a good med for you, I think it will be good regardless of which brand you take. Don't obsess about it. The most common reason for problems with generics is too much obsessing about it. Obsessing is bad for your health, and can damage an otherwise decent response.

>Looks like I am getting Sandoz.

Yeah, get Sandoz. They are a major company.

It is a real pharmacy, right?

Generics should be OK but if it's counterfeit it might not be :)

Well I sure hope it is real... I've got stuff from them before, but they pooped out...
I just checked the mirtazapine I got from them and it matches the pill identifier pictures, so does the buspirone. I was recommended the pharmacy by my doctor so I suppose they're a legit outfit

Well my omeprazole from them works!

Thank you very much. I hope it has some mood kick to it, like when it was used as an antidepressant in olden days.

Got the pills in the mail. Just took half, as the doctor ordered. I hope to feel something.

Well adderall is good for waking me up and making my heartbeat fast, thats about it. Looks like its back to the drawing board. Also I have been on SAM-e for about 5 weeks and can't afford to keep taking it, and all it does is give me cramps. so today will be my last day of SAM-e and maybe adderall. I'm gonna call my doc, but I think if adderall were to help I would have known in a few days.

I'm really sorry that the Adderall didn't work out as planned. Were you hoping it would help you with depression? If so, I know that a few (4-5 people) on this board have gotten an anti-depressant effect from Provigil. I can find the posts if you want.

Anything is possible, but I doubt it would help. I've tried adrafinil as well, which turns into modafinil(provigil) in the body and while it helps with staying awake it does not help my mood. But thanks for offering. I think I'm done with stims, at least until I find a sturdy antidepressant to base it upon. I feel like stimulants are trying to get water from a stone. I just don't seem to have enough neurotranmitters for them to help me feel any better.
