I've been taking lexapro 10-20mg for a few months now.
My doc wants me to give Luvox a try.
Do I have to discontinue the lexapro and then titrate up on the luvox?
or can I stop taking the lexapro one day and start taking the luvox the next?
(unfortunately he didn't really give me instructions on how to switch these)...
I'm also taking focalin XR.
Thank you.

That is not the way to go. You need to bring the dosage of the current medication before you start the new one. Otherwise if you have a a reaction you won't know if it's from the new med, or the old med combined with the new med.
