To anyone using Cymbalta....
are you taking it once or twice daily....
I am trying to avoid the side effects of both daytime drowsiness and insomnia.....so attempted to take it twice daily....any advice? I am not quite as tired as I was on the Pristiq but still midafternoon drowsiness (want to nap) then wide awake at night....

Forgot to say although I want to nap....I actually dont (because of my schedule).....so night time insomnia is not due to mid afternoon napping....

FM I never had any problems with it but was also on benzos are you taking once a day now? And what dose? Don't see why Twice a Day wouldn't be okay. Phillipa

Sorry to hear that you are having trouble with the med. It's a double edged sword for you isn't it. I really don't think that taking it twice a day will help but it's certainly worth a try. If it's an consolation the side effects should go away in a few weeks. I had the same problem with Parnate when I started it and it went away.
Take care.

I am taking it twice a day....seems to be okay this way....might just stick it out....mid-afternoon crash still but better than all day fatigue like before....
