I have had the worst side effects from Teva generics! I have had both their generic of Wellbutrin and Effexor and both caused unbelievable gastro/stomach problems.
I saw my doc today and he said I should have had Effexor XR - not the generic Effexor (by Teva) that I have been trying for the past month!
I never had any problems with name brand Effexor XR capsules or brand name Wellbutrin.
My husband also had a terrible reaction to a generic of Prozac.
Ugh! How many generic companies do we have to deal with?!
Now I will pay top dollar for the name brand and will inform my pharmacist that I do not ever want anything made by Teva.

I had problems with Teva wellbutrin too. I read they're going to do a clinical study to show that their wellbutrin is as good as the original. It'll be interesting to see whether it's ever published because I have a feeling they won't get the results they want.

You know... I always thought that Teva desipramine was junk.
I wouldn't be surprised if there was some underhanded dealings w/ name-brand pharmas... Teva purposely making crap products so people are forced to buy name-brand drugs.
But more than likely it's incompetence rather than conspiracy.

> thanks guys :)Last month I did some googling and found that greenstone seemed to be the preferred generic for zoloft (there wasn't a lot out there, though, so take it with a grain of salt). Unfortunately, I only took it for 3 days before I gave up due to the unbearable anxiety it caused.
