Hello everyone,
I am a newcomer to the Raleigh NC area and am wondering if anyone would happen to know of a good psychiatrist here? I am looking for a good person to help with medications. I unfortunately can't travel to Duke or UNC or I'd go there.
I tried the county mental health clinic...they won't take me because I have private insurance.

Why no Duke or Chapel Hill? Try a google search of the area. I'm in Charlotte and none here but hear good ones in Raleigh. Love Phillipa

Hi Philippa,
I have to stay within my insurance which is BC/BS. I can't afford to pay anyone out of pocket. Also, I am looking for someone close by in Raleigh.Thanks,

Try a google search of Raleigh and make some phone calls to docs and know anyone who sees someone as when in CT the best one ever had was a referral through a friend who was also seeing him Jan
