I tried vyvanse low dose at 30 mg and liked it. It was smooth and had ad effects for me. I used the coupon my p-doc gave me and got a free months supply. I think I need the next dosage which is 40 mg.
I've had responses to low dose luvox at 50 mg. Never really able to get higher.
I have atypical depression and add. Would luvox or another ssri work synergistically together and attack ssri + add. Also would a stim prevent the dreaded down regulation of dopamine.

Seriously luvox first time at 250mg worked great. There was a second time too only pooped out after three weeks. I have not had any sides as long as a benzo is included. Phillipa

First time I used it I got a response after only 50 mg. When I hit 75 mg had anxiety. Guess I needed a benzo with it. I took it at night and it helped me sleep.

Just be grateful for something to help with focus, right now I'm not doing well. Take Nuvigel, the largest dose you can go Vyvanse is 140mg which is equivelnet to 40mg of Dexedrine yet it's effect is some how diffrent from Dexedrine. The spansules work faster than Vyvanse, and their the vary thing I need for concentration and people keep on saying it's depedence, well I take Nuvigel which is "strong" wake you upper, yet it doesnt provide have the benefiical effect's amphetamine does in certain areas.
Glad to hear your doing good. Luvox should be good anxiety and leveling you depression

So Linkadge can you give me your opinion. I had percocet because I had a hip operation. That supply will soon be gone with no refill.
That leaves me with neurontin. My p-doc will give me a script for vyvanse (very smooth release d-amphetamine but low dose). Should I combine that with neurontin ? I also have some luvox at home. I could combine low dose luvox with vyvanse and get a little of all the neurotransmitters. So I have a choice to make. Really don't want to mix luvox + neurontin + vyvanse. To many variables to start out with.

> best..luckThe neurontin + percocet has been a good combo. But the orthpedic guy will no longer presribe percocet. Actually did not build up a tolerance to percocet. Can get by on 30 mg a day.
So It is luvox + vyvanse (tried 30 mg dose which gives you 8.9 d-amphetamine - will ask the p-doc for 40 mg when I see him)

Go with Neurontin, Luvox and Vyvanse. They all compliment each other well and I've been on a similar combo Dexedrine 45 mg + 600 mg Lyrica + 200 mg Luvox.
Luvox inhibits 5ht reuptake and agonizes sigma-1 receptors, Vyvanse blocks reuptake of norepenephrine and dopamine, Neurontin is structurally related to GABA but does not effect GABA transmission and binds to voltage-activated calcium channels furthermore it does not alter dopamine, seratonin or noradrenaline. In other words, all three drugs would be rather complimentary, working on separate receptor systems and doing their jobs rather separately without stepping on each others toes.

Luvox hits 5ht and has afinity for neuropeptide sigma-1 receptors.
Lexapro just hits 5ht receptors.

It did mess with my seizure disorder initially, but once I got on the Keppra at the right dose it wasn't an issue anymore.
