Jeroen maybe the extended release since roung the clock just doesn't give an initial punch so to speak. And didn't you take higher doses of regular? Phillipa

I can't say 100mg of any kind of Seroquel is much of a dose and would produce any profound sleepiness for those who have already taken atypicals.

There's a certain possibility of a "memory" of it.

I would imagine you would feel more sleepy (hopefully at least at night only) once you were at 400+ . Its possible for you, it may actually work spread out through the day.

It really hasn't gained much interest in the psychiatric community because Seroquel IR seems to work the same but there's always those who respond differently -- I guess I responded maybe "slightly" differently.

What was the difference in response, if I might ask?

* Hi Jeroen. I really hope it helps you.

I'm up to 150mgXR at bedtime now, and it does help me sleep, but is not stupefyingly sedating. I still wake up during the night, but easily fall back to sleep.
I was really hypo-manic/manic today and 2 hours after taking Seroquel XR 150mg, I'm coming down quite a bit. Hope that's all it takes.

Best wishes to you.
J
