TSH .08! Should I be worried?

Yikes? I think I feel okay (you know, in that 'relative' way). It's lower than when I was on a higher dose?

FB same thing happened to me strange isn't it. What's the reference range on the lab slip and is the doc changing the dose. Also did you get Free T4 as my endo says that is more important? Do you feel hyper? Mine has gone low also. Phillipa

Hi FB, I think you should go by how you feel. I am always a bit hyperthyroid but I have no symptoms. My doctor keeps me on the same dosage of meds based on how I feel. I think you will be okay.

I got hyperthyreosis when I used buprenorphine in 2004. My weight went down to 49,5 kilos, and I could eat what I wanted.

How's your resting heart rate? Is it normal?

Yes, as long as your HR is okay, and you FEEL GOOD,you should be okay. The "newer" thinking on thyroid levels is that doctors should treat you by symptoms/feelings instead of the numbers.

It is about 80-90. I now use Liothyronin (Cytomel) 10 micrograms. My heart rate increased when adding lithium, so then I had to reduce Liothyronin from 20 to 10 micrograms.

I don't feel good at this level, so we're backing done on dosage. I like being about 1-1.5. I think being this low creates anxiety for me. My heart rate was within normal range, but high for me.

Thanks for all your info and interest. I can't wait till my tsh level rises a bit. This may take a few weeks. Then retesting. Seems unstable and we're not sure why.

Not to worry you but my neice 36 also has it and her thyroid is almost gone. Mine keeps changing too on same med. Ever have a scan? I haven't. Phillipa
