Buspirone/melatonin may help major depression

I found this article on Medscape today:

That buspirone and melatonin combination act to create new brain cells which helps major depression. It is still in trials but I am going to ask my pdoc if I can take buspirone; I already take melatonin 5mg nightly. I could use some new brain cells anyway even if it doesn't help depression!

Abby is that buspar? Agomelatonin is similar I think and lots on it now. Some it helps some it doesn't. Does the melatonin do anything? Love Phillipa
