Seroquel + Wellbutrin?

Posted by SheilaC on August 24, 2009, at 9:53:06

Thinking of going back to Seroquel at night and Wellbutrin during the day.

Since I can't use any of the SSRIs (they irritate my bladder) and Pristiq caused terrible constipation, and Abilify caused severe swelling.

I've tried Wellbutrin in the past and it has made me a little hypomanic and irritable. Maybe the Seroquel would combat that?

I guess from this combo I wouldn't be getting any serotonin? Unless Seroquel offers that.

My body seems really sensitive. I wish I could tolerate SSRIs.

I don't want to use Parnate because I don't want to worry about wine, cheese, chocolate, etc. I have enough issues without dietary restrictions.

Sheila remember we're all different and different meds effect us differently. Parnate may be a wonder drug for some but not all or seems like everyone in real life would be on it. That's just my feelings. Phillipa does your doc have other suggestions and what have you done well on before? And what kind of depression do you have?
