Has anyone had any luck switching SSRIs? E.g. from Lexapro to Prozac?

Regards,
Mattias

Well prozac and lexapro did not work for me in the long run, however, switching them was painless.

good luck

I am doing this right now. Saw my pdoc yesterday and today is my first day on prozac, 20mg; yesterday it was lexapro 10mg. I also take wellbutrin. pdoc gave me no special instructions on switching over, and quite honestly I don't feel a difference, except that I'm more awake. We're making the switch because the lexapro was making me too sleepy; supposedly prozac is more "activating". We'll see .....

Good luck 2 both of you..Prozac is a very good antidepressant that works well for anxiety. I know people that have been on it for a very long time. Try to be patient with it as you may experience side effects in the beginning as you may with any antidepressant.
