Update

Posted by Frustratedmama on July 23, 2009, at 10:01:28

Just an update to let you all know how I am doing....
Well I started the pristiq....

Current meds:
Pristiq 50 mg
Vyvanse 30 Mg
Libirum 5-10 mg 1-2 times per day or PRN
Lunesta 1 mg if needed

So far, the pristiq has helped me feel calmer and less depressed....not happy but a little bit less angry that's for sure.... I also find I dont need as much librium and that I slept without lunesta last night!

The downside... I am tired..... hope fatigue will go away..... but regardless I will stay on this to see what happens....I can always up my vyvanse if fatigue continues to be an issue.... The fatigue doesnt really start until about mid-afternoon so i am not sure I want to take the pristiq at night as I am afraid I would wake up tired.... Maybe taking at noon time might help.....

Here's hoping this is going to continue to help and that I will get past the "week of releif" this time!

How long you been on the pristiq seems like a lot of others are having good success with it. May you continue to experience success. Congrats to you. Phillipa

This sounds good, like you have found a few meds that you can work with and tweak and aren't causing nasty side-effects. Congratulations! I feel this success will continue....
