Is There an Equivalency Chart Which Includes Long

Posted by Phillipa on May 26, 2009, at 18:35:17

Is there an equivalency chart that includes conversion of long acting xanax, regular xanax to valium. At request of Five Fires not blocked unable to post this thread. She would welcome any feedback. Thanks so much Phillipa

Asked to post this. Phillipa Top line ommited Says Must be Drug Equivalency for:

1mg Xanax-X t.i.d.
2mg Xanax t.i.d.

to

Valium.

Believe pls am to overcome w/ pain to do more than reach to you.

I am dehydrated; unable to keep 'any food' in body, so I believe I am, as well, unable to keep any med in my body.(?)

This switch may be more effective for the anxiety which is way off the charts and my back pain too. Back feels on fire. Called appropriate pp. Won't go to p ward @ hospital due to prior violations. Need med. care. No fam' come to aid or be aide tho' nearly on hands and knees for a long time. Lost love of 15yrs / cold break / a week or so ago. I know this comes into play. I have been through this process 4-5x in life but am too unhealthy to do it again alone. Cut in back pain med of 1/4 per day w/o any assisting med.. Off Prov. was a no-brainer.

TY so very much.

Pls help?

Well, if you make an assumption that Xanax XR is about the same as taking 4 Xanax a day, then

http://www.dr-bob.org/tips/bzd.html

The first one on that list I feel is much more accurate.

So 4* (.5) = 4* (5) = 20mg Valium equivalency / day for every Xanax XR 1mg , give or take. I think, if my math isn't off.
