Anyone who has come off nardil! Didn't have a great experience with it. Felt awful on it the whole time. Didn't notice much at 15mgs for three days. Then raised to 30 mgs for 1 1/2 weeks then to 45 mgs for a week. Made me vomit after 3rd week and raising dose to 45. Stopped immediately.
Have been off two weeks. Only took for three weeks at 45mgs. Could I still be feeling this bad afterwards. Can't tell if its the med or anxieties or both.
Am still totally nausceous. Having to force food down. Shaking, tense, depressed more than ever. Today is the first time ever in my whole battle with anxiety that I actually planned out my death this morning.
Made it through the day though!

Terrible to be feeling so awful. I think it can take a long time to stablize after coming off a med. It sounds like you really need something to get you through this period. What about something like klonopin?

I agree with above poster..clonazapam will help. I had a really rough ride coming off Nardil, even with a slow taper..I had brain zaps for 4 weeks after stopping and clonazapam really helped me get through that period. I had no trouble coming off Parnate tho..
Hang in there..call your doc as soon as you can..you don't have to feel like this!

Over two months I think (my memory is bad!). It worked well as an AD, but horrible side effects, so had to stop it.
