You need to add heavy weight lifting to your regimin as that will improve your mood. Follow workout with a high protein drink.

Took another look at this post/link, I noticed the only drug listed (as far as I know) for depression was Lamictal. He says it took care of his. Interesting combination, interesting guy. Did you know him Bulldog? Nothing too crazy in his concoction, just small things to correct small deficiencies that added up to big problem sounds like. Must be nice to be in position to try lots of samples! We need to look at more posts like that one. Find the person with our exact symptoms and PRESTO! Now there's a thread, everyone posts one success story from Babble. Old or new, with link like yours BD. Would that be allowed with the powers that be? Are we allowed to babblemail posters known to be responders/in remmission?

Guy or gal was bipolar. Wonder where they are now. old joints? and that's not playing fair as maybe someone else's are old too. Arthritis isn't it???? Love and Peace Phillipa someone once said the success stories are few and far between what's the definition for success? Wouldn't that be different for each individual? Just asking.

Hey Phillilpa - Doing excercise with weights can help joints, as long as you're careful to use proper form and listen to your body. But just in general i wish everyone would lift weights as they get older, helps keep bones strong, people mobile, everything. It bothers me these exercise-phobic docs. Now sure, training hard with huge weights *can lead to injuries, but thats hardly the only way to train.
