These worked well together for me, quite a bit better than Trivastal (50mg/d) alone. (Hydergine was 4.5mg/d sublingual.)
This might have been because Hydergine's -NE +5HT +DA effect nicely balanced Trivastal's +NE +DA.
If that is right it might be worth trying very low dose Ixel with Hydergine, or even adding a smidgen of Ixel to Hydergine and Trivastal.

I am planning on doing the ixel trivastal combo myself. I think ATMlady took it didn't she, would be interested in what the general feeling about this is.

She took both together and then she discontinued the Trivastal, as I recall, not because of untoward effect but because she didn't need it.

I am all for any additional mood boosting i can get. My ixel regime is still in its infancy though :)

Hi, it's me, and yes I quickly discontinued the Trivistal. First, it made me sleepy, which I don't like. I do better on more stimulating meds, and don't feel well when not "up", but that's me.
But OH the dreams I had on Trivistal! I slept and slept and the dreams were very vivid - and good! Not scary like when I quit smoking and used a nicotine patch.
Also, I felt it made me crave more carbs (everything tasted so good!). I think this is a common side effect with dopamine agonists. My boss takes Requip for RLS and he's gained quite a bit since starting it, despite working out like a madman.
As far as mood, I did not notice any help; so I do have a supply of Trivistal leftover, but am not planing on ever using it again. If that tells you anything. The Ixel worked much better for mood than Trivistal.
