Just to add as something that might be helpful - that would be up to you to decide - Even if a situation seems to be about a blending of RL problems and participation at PB, I suggest, keeping in mind community harmony, civility, and the goals of these boards, that a personal RL situation be dealt with in real life and try to not address or play it out on the boards no matter how upset and angry the circumstances may have you feeling... just a suggestion.Keep in mind, these boards can be read by anyone with internet access. The information available about these boards are clear about the pitfalls - maybe reviewing those would help you. If privacy regarding posting here and how posting is factoring into your real life is important to you, it's mostly up to you to take steps to guard that.

Theres nothing they could do even if they were reading boards you post on especially given the topic of this board. There have been people fired over blog posts that involved being critical of their employer or hinting at certain trade secrets. Yes certain corporate entities have people that do this but its in a very legal gray zone.
They're much more scared of people posting on sites like http://wikileaks.org/ or implicating themselves in posting on those types of sites.

If you'd like to get paranoid start wondering about why someone would host a board like this. Im not at all accusing dr. bob or his admins of this in any way and im sure their intentions but for all we know our conversations are being data mined and sold to pharm companies or used as research materials.
Infact its very possible it is being data mined by a secondary entity not affiliated with dr bob. Google does it openly and i'd suspect 99% of people dont even know thats the main portion of their buisness model, selling data.

A name can be used that an employer or friend could not identify.
