im on 120mg went down 20 mg got a bad reation dont no why its not that much to drop to 100mg.thinking of going straight to the 60 mg, i had no trouble going 60 to 120 in one go. so has any one done the big drop an felt no problems.the 60 did for my depression an left me a sex life, the 120mg has not made the progress i hoped for on anxiety. but has left the python a maggot an thats not on. manic666

Manic didn't go above 60mg and didn't have any problems getting off it. It was only lately I'd heard the manufacturer said okay to 120 mg. Maybe that's why? I'm sorry you feel badly. I guess a slower taper you want to go down am I correct? Phillipa

no baby if the srink can put you up 60mg in one go i was thinking is it possible to come down 60mg in one go, without my head exploding.i wondered if anyone had done it without a problem ,you see im a little restricted on anxiety meds with the ativan. i have to try herds to help valerian ok , but boy it stinks.my way of thinking if im not getting much from the 120mg i may as well be back on 60 got to be less side effects. manic666

DONT. The reeling of getting of an SNRI is notoriously difficult. If you want massive side effects to happen, that is the surest way to make them go. I know, it is an inordinate pain to wait to drop slowly on the medication while it is doing things you don't like but I can tell you it will do things you /really/ won't like if you dump large quantities.
Same thing applies across the board to a lot of medications -- APs, benzodiazepines, etc.
I'm just saying this not to scare the *** out of you or the like but, it is well known in a lot of people that this can happen. Drop by 20s over some weeks and get it out of your system, without having anxiety like symptoms come back.
