"Deaths have also been reported in association with concomitant administration of buprenorphine with other depressants such as alcohol or other opioids."

"Buprenorphine is metabolized to norbuprenorphine by cytochrome CYP 3A4. Because CYP 3A4 inhibitors may increase plasma concentrations of buprenorphine, patients already on CYP 3A4 inhibitors such as azole antifungals (e.g., ketoconazole), macrolide antibiotics (e.g., erythromycin), and HIV protease inhibitors (e.g., ritonavir, indinavir and saquinavir) should have their dose of SUBUTEX or SUBOXONE adjusted."

"Patients should be cautioned that a serious overdose and death may occur if benzodiazepines, sedatives, tranquilizers, antidepressants, or alcohol are taken at the same time as SUBOXONE or SUBUTEX."

Thank you very much.
If this is the case....then why is my physician keeping me on a benzo and Suboxone? I truly think the death were from very high doses of both types of meds, what do you think??? For a year, I was taking 6mg Suboxone and up to 200mg+ Librium, and I am still alive, but my heart isn't the same.
There was another thread, I can't find it though.

I think the deaths were in polysubstance abusers trying to achieve a high, often by injecting the drugs. The risks depend on many factors, such as tolerance - experienced opioid users often use doses that may be several times higher than what would kill a non-tolerant person. To a lesser degree, the same is true for benzodiazepines. The point of the warning is that there may be unexpectedly strong effects from the drugs when they're combined, which can result in overdose.
