Administration appreciates those posters who were supportive of Phillipa in a civil way.
Dr. Bob would like to try to invite posters to take a larger role in maintaining the educational nature of this site. Hi Phillipa,
Some things are ONLY worth being ignored, Phillipa. But sometimes it's hard to ignore really hurtful things.
What I'd need to do in this case is as follows:
print out the posts, take them outside, put them into a pail or something & burn them, then do whatever you want with the ashes - possibly flush them down the toilet or put them in the garbage.
I hope it's okay that I shared that with you.

...and although 'being quiet' is an option, and I know for me often a really good one in some situations, I hope you don't feel completely silenced. That's not my goal when I ask posters to follow the guidelines.
