it still needs to pass the Senate (which has a competing bill of its own). Since Bush is not on board with the House bill, it looks like this bill might need to override a possible veto if it even passes the Senate. Since mental health parity has been one of the priority issues for the Democratic congress that was elected in 2006, it seems that this issue has been lost in the fray to competing interests until late.
