Nardil :( tofranil? TCAS?

Posted by francineus on February 28, 2008, at 20:33:27

I feel like a nardil failure. I had high hopes but it just gave me chest pain and agitation.

I'm starting to wonder if anything will help.

Haven't tried tofranil. Wonder if anyone has had any success. Did try nortryptline with no success. wondering if TCAS are different from each other...

I have high anxiety plus depression. and perhaps dopamine meds aren't the best choice. Any ideas?

What about Lithium as anxiety/depression med.I'm not in terrible shape off everything. Just no pleasure in living really, but I can plaster on a smile and function fine. weird. Take klonopin for anxiety. Could that be making depression worse?

This is rambling..sorry and thanks.

Hi again Phillipa, how are you?

Talking about these medicines:

i just counted that in Finland there are 50 different medicines that affect primarily on your head,

but at the same time there are hundreds of trademarks under which these medicines are prescribed, sold and used,

i find the situation a bit confusing, some newbies and perhaps even experienced users can talk about two different trademarks without knowing that they are talking about the same medicine,

so i'd like everyone to talk about the affecting stuff, not the differing trademarks,

here is a catalogue of these 50 affecting stuffs and beneath each you find a list of the trademarks under which they are sold in Finland, and probably in other eu-countries too,

http://www.nam.fi/uploads/rinnakkaislaakeluettelo/q22008/Q2.2008_vaihtokelpoiset.pdf

i think this would be most preferable to concentrate our discussion into the real differences of different medicines,

have a nice day (in NL? do i remember right?)

chris

I've been using klonopin for a while now to cope with anxiety. It does seem to take off the edge. Unfortunately, I can't seem to find an AD that works for long and I'm just feeling pretty hopeless.
