vicodine with methylphenidate - safe?

Can I take vicodine (5mg hydrocodone/500 acetamenophen) with methylphenidate (10mg, and 20mg SR, bid)? I've been doing some research and cannot find anything conclusive, so I thought I would ask here to see if anyone has had any experiences taking both.
