After Prozac....to boost sex drive????Need Bad!

Posted by Jay_Bravest_Face on February 3, 2008, at 23:57:59

Hi Folks...

I know...the billion dollar question. I've been off Prozac for only about a week, but I feel like I have 'genital Anesthesia'. No feeling...no nothing. The internal drive isn't there...etc. Viagara doesn't work....all herbal stuff...nadda.
I know it actually takes about 11-12 weeks for the sex drive to return on it's own. But, let's say I want it NOW!!..lol. Dexedrine doesn't work. I actually feel like attatching jumper cables down there and just...AHHHHHHH!!!..heh. I could use some...ahhhh..help...in the suggestion sense, that is..lol. Thanks...

Jay

Jay this inappropriate for me to answer and really can't but doesn't prozac take 5 weeks to totally clear your system? If so I guess it's wait time. Phillipa

No, not inappropriate at all! You are rightit takes time. Somebody mentioned a total of 11 weeks or so for 'complete' rebound. I am justurgggg.frustrated, like I have the mental urge so slowly responding , but the physical part is so REALLY slow(if it even does!!!) Okay, I wont go into any more detailslol. Thanks.

Jay

Hey..thanks...

I have tried Remeron...no dice there. Same with Abilify. That stuff actually just made me feel like I was sick, coming down with the flu.
I might order some Tianeptine, since I've read some good stuff about it, and in theory, being a 'serotonin reverser', might work, as the serotonin antagonist Serzone worked for me before (but is not available in Canada anymore. ).
Thanks....

Best,
Jay
