So the time has come. I'm starting T3 20mcg today with 30mg Remeron. I took 10mcg yesterday to see if there would be any adverse fx, but I didn't notice any except panic anxiety which I have developed recently, it's like a first-pill-anxiety, when you don't know how your body will react to the substance, highly annoying.
I'm still having withdrawal symptoms from tamsulosin and Edronax which I quit almost two weeks ago, cold turkey, which accordingly to the literature should be okay. The most prominient symptom is 'head-zaps'./Mattias

Good luck, Mattias.
If T3 makes you feel worse, don't reject T4 as an alternative. They act like two different drugs.

I'm not familiar with tamsulosin. What does it do?

T3 is cytomel right? I tried that with my synthroid and it lasts a short time and did cause anxiety in me. I stopped taking it. Good luck. Phillipa

I am on 50 mcg for hypothyroidism (combined with synthroid). When I first started taking it I had more energy and my mood was better. But it didn't last forever. Sigh. Hope it helps you.

> I'm not familiar with tamsulosin. What does it do?It eliminates(completely) the sexual and urological problems that comes with Edronax. It blocks alpha1-receptors.

How long do you think I will have to wait to see an improvement(if any)?

I think the same length of time is to be expected with T3. Certainly no longer than 3 weeks.

No my experience was like yours. It made me speedy which helped my mood. But now I am used to the dosage so I don't feel it's effect anymore. It turns out that I was converting my T4 to T3 so the cytomel has really helped my thyroid condition.
