Whoops. Meant took 7.5mg Abilify before sleep last night.

Took the Provigil this a.m.

I feel all worn out and exhausted, and my memory about what we're discussing here, like certain meds, is getting bad.

Hi 5f,

I noticed you posted at the Nardil thread about having the lovely carb cravings.... all those sugary goodies can result in a pretty serious crash!

Have you been getting some protein and leafy things in your diet to help balance out some of the sugar?

Just a thought....

Janet

Nope Brody, just 'protein bars'. I have absolutely no appetite at all. I'm not sure if it's the Abilify or the 'gone' ex-sig.

I am supposed to get a B12 shot every month when see my PCP. He forgot to give it to me last week and I forgot to bring it up. This could be part of it.

As well, I am supposed to take folic acid and folate, which are two different pills, which I am NOT doing, but instead just taking the folate.

Those bags of salads scare me 'cuz bacteria. Can't eat very well.

IBS and lactose intolerant and food has become an enemy.

tks, 5f

Salad is fine. Thought the abilify and providgil were giving you lots of energy. Can providgil poop out or the build up of ambilify just a thought. Phillipa

My apologies Fivefires.... I thought you were struggling with the sugar/carb cravings. You're right..... protein bars not likely to be the culprit.

I hear you. There was another recall of a Dole salad today. I think I'll go back to tearing up my own lettuces....

Hoping you get your appetite back soon.... you need fuel for energy!

Janet

P.S. If you get the B-12 shots regularly and then miss one, would your body notice it and react with fatigue? The only time I ever had one I broke out in hives because I was alergic to the preservative it contained. :-(

Been taking Provigil for over 5 yrs. It totally kills my appetite at 100 mgs. Now weaning off from 4-600 mg. Tolerance can develop. I was taking it for fatigue only. I need an appetite-

I should have realized it was losing effectiveness but dr kept upping dose. Never a desire to eat; very similar to adderall and d-amphet. in this respect. I don't need ot want to lose weight.

So Florence it is stimulating. So bad for anxiety? Thanks Phillipa

Sorry late gettin' back to thread. It's nearly mid afternoon Fri.

Got some rest and awakened yesterday to begin knocking off 'a totally too long errand list' at sunrise. Got home late. More errands to do … and, now!

Can't be sure fatigue was from tolerance to Provi*il, absence of B12 (I was 7-10days past shot due date.), increase of Abili*y from 5mg to 7.5mg, possible sinus infection, or a cumulitive thing re: poor diet and ‘man’ problems. As well, I’d recently begun folate and folic acid (need research). Had a wee bit of a cough so PCP gave me a 5,4,3,2,1 prednisone and Levaquin (Antibiotic not to be taken w/ calcium or iron!) in case possible sinus infection. Picking up samples Pr*vigil today, soon, b4 too late.

Seems I develop a tolerance to all meds quite easily. Can't think of a thing I've not needed to increase and increase. Would like to understand why this is w/ me and my metabolism. Fortunately, I do see that I can stay at a plateau level on some meds.

I'm at 115lbs now, and was about 120lbs when began Provigil. I’d ended 13-yr relationship at same time, so again unsure. For most of my adult life, 30 yrs, I've been at a very comfortable 112lbs. The in-activity of current living surroundings (last 2yrs now) robbed me of this stable weight and I’d been at 122-123lbs since here.

W/ still grieving father, just ending 13yr relationship w/ sig-other, and an ex-husband enjoying throwing mind-boggling sh*t at me, I can’t be sure it is the meds, supplements, or diet alone. Seems prob' a little bit of each

Florence, .. I'm sorry to not respond sooner. It's a thing most peeps here know about me. I don't have a lot of self-discipline. (I'm trying to keep using this word so will 'build up' the quality, as know I had it at one time. I used it earlier to post.) Whoops .. there I went again .. right off the track. I'm wondering, Florence, what 'else' you were taking alongside Provigil, which I'm understanding (I think.) you have totally dc’d, if you would care to share please.

Anyway, got a lot done and this is good. No real snags all day; just a little anxiousness at being overloaded somewhat w/ errands.

Oh, but, throwing me a bit further off the 'what is going on with me' search, a man 'whose pretend name I'll not mention' offered me a black negligee, choc covered strawberries, and $50, to sleep w/ him. This is doing a world of terror for my self-esteem!

I told you guys men really mess w/ me! Do they not realize how very extremely hurtful it is to indicate to a woman their attraction is merely their body? Or, am I 'totally' not realistic?!

Oh, and, re: sig-other, heard news he’s not doing well at all. My heart aches for him.

I filled little burner w/ water and a lot of drops of essential patchouli to get myself ‘grounded’ last eve’.

tks all, 5f
