it seems it may be possible for my doctor to do it. but i am having trouble finding articles for him, which is extremely difficult given i have a huge difficulty just writing simple stupid messages on a message board.
he prescribed guanfacine for me earlier this summer, which was ridiculously easy to get across the border (in the US.) even given my being canadian (it is not approved in canada.) no red tape at border, or pharmacy, even given my address.
i think he didn't believe there was anything illegal about it, but he admitted the specifics he did not know. i tried, i think, to keep conversation away from speaking futher in that direction, given i was afraid it would necessitate in his mind, to keep away from the issue of what i was proposing.
but he knew more specfics AND MAYBE followed an informed protocol, where he wrote his Ontario medical practice number or something on it. i would really like to know the specifics as primarily, i need to know if i am involving him in anything unknowingly illegal on HIS side of things.
i am going on the assumption that in canada, you can generally import 3 months of something unapproved; but i am hoping this isn't just some over-repeated oversimplification.
last time it was just an hour drive away, now it's tranatlantic. any new issues?
now the ARTICLE issue:
for him to write the last prescription, what convinced him it was okay to try, was a CANADIAN article metionning the drugs merit in cases, and it's very favourable safety profile, even compared to the typically available drugs. it was by the canadian medical association, ironically, given that they are actually a pretty strange and shady group (from a patient perspective; they have been trying to coax the canadian public to give up public health care for a long time.)
but anyway, in terms of guanfacine, it was a well-written and honest article. the fact that it was canadian, was what he found helpful.
so i need articles, yet i can't steer my brain helpfully in any way. anything i do, is pure luck and exhausting. all i can do is pace. and move purposely to relieve the feelings in my skin. this has been permanent since drugs i have taken, i almost feel like this is what parkinson's must feel like, except i feel as if my skin is about ready to spark electrical fires, but not before i pull apart someone's face.
my social worker took me to the hospital emergency in the middle of last month, pretty much based simply on how i was moving and not talking relevantly. i was kept on a form, unbelievably, but i don't remember anything relevant. i saw quite a few doctors, but was able to leave in 3 days. ironically one doctor was very concerned that i was not psychotic, but i wasn't moving strangely with my words, garbling my syntax, and being quite aware i could not keep meaningful topic, because my brain was making up it's own stimuli, but because it took so much effort to think and speak. i had to reposition just to talk and demangle my visual field from the outside input poulluting it and keeping me overprocessing.
i have the italian pharmacy saying they can send it, leaving the issue to me and customs if it's seized, they do not assume any resposibility for a countries policies. they need ORIGINAL prescription.
so that is where i have to work something out:
articles articles articles. but not too many. just something that says: OKAY. ( plus CANADA )

Trying to simplify your request....two issues?
You need article(s), preferably Canadian?, that support the use of amisulpride?
You need confirmation of importation regulations?

In the first article, you'll see a reference that amisulpride is availabe under the Health Canada's Special Access Program, but that's a lot of red tape to go through, considering you've found an external source on your own. Some vendors supply the drugs for free, if requested through this program, so you may want to consider it. Otherwise, you pay the manufacturer's own price for the drug. It would be sent directly to your doctor. Applications are online, here: http://hc-sc.gc.ca/dhp-mps/acces/drugs-drogues/index_e.html
The Italian requirement for a prescription is to protect themselves, I would think, from their own regulatory system. I didn't find amisulpride on any of the Schedules to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act, so I cannot anticipate the slightest problem with Customs in Canada. You could have the pharmacy include a copy of the prescription, I'm sure, but I don't think that's necessary.
