Whoa............xanax hahahaha.

I take Xanax, it is nothing, omg 10 times better than klonopin for depression, klonopin made me so freaking depressed i just started out the window "darrrrrrrrr" ROFL

Yes, but for me it is potent, and isnt depressing, i mean if you want to make someone feel like sh*t, drop a klonopin in their drink
or say here takes it its asprin, they wont know what hit em!~ ROFL

I mean it klono, clutso, retardo, i think all those things regard to klonopin.

I hate klonopin, it makes me mean, omg klonopin is only good for one thing, BAD insomnia, nad panic attacks. When i could not sleep, 4mg would knock the nuerons right to there beds.

Anyways good luck, and if you have and out of body experience with Klonopin (LSD) tell me.

Yeah I found the same thing with Xanax. It was like taking a placebo pill. Only felt something when I took a huge dose, maybe 6mg in one go but I was only prescribed 0.25mg tds! Ativan was more effective than Xanax and seemed to lack that heavy, depressing quality of Klonopin.

My 2 bob's worth....

Xanax is best benzo, and I'd like get a script for it, but here it's only for panic attacks, which presumably are episodic (unlike what I have).

Ativan has a lot of amnesia, but maybe that was because I was using way too much?
(No one else ever says they find Ativan too amnesic.)

I quite like 0.5mg Xanax, although I do recall finding Xanax not physically relaxing enough.
Depression from benzos is a problem for me.

Will nobody prescribe Xanax off label for you Siggy? It isn't used at all on the NHS here but I managed to get it by asking a locum GP for a private prescription. I had quite a lot of memory loss on Ativan too, and that was bad because I was studying for exams at the time. But no, didn't seem to bother me too much either.

Xanax has been working wonderfully for me for 20 years and not escalating the dosage. I take less than 2mg/day. When I took valium or even ativan, which is a weaker benzo than xanax, btw, I felt more depressed. Goes to show that many people react so diffferently to medications.

Xanax worked great for me for many years at a dose of 2mg total a day. Then it just made me tired. Love Phillipa.

xanax did nothing but make me nautious...ativan is a much better drug imo for anxiety but it also does make me kind of depressed but i have more anxiety issues right now...ativan increases appetite for me.
Depending on the dose you take it all depends too... I take anywhere from 2 to 4 mg a day of ativan and sometimes 1 or 2 a day.

Thanx everyone!!!!

Just goes to show how drugs effect people so differently. Xanax is the best for me. I am avoiding right now so I do not become dependent on it. I have been taking Ativan, and personally, I feel it's weaker than Xanax, not to mention slow as molasses. I still have Xanax around for sudden panic attacks. Xanax has a stronger antidepressant effect on me than Ativan. Ativan seems to be good for general anxiety, but that's about it. Now, Klonopin, ugh. Made me very flat and depressed. Never been so depressed in my life. I can't believe you get a lift in depression from Klonopin and not as much from Xanax. I'm just interested in the contrast in effects. I'm interested to find out what happens when you try Ativan.
