I would say withdrawal from the Luvox sweetheart. Withdrawal from AD's is very hard on the body/mind, as you know i just went off two at the same time...ugh! I can only tell you to be patient it may take a couple of weeks and you'll be feeling much better. As always, i'm here for you.

Love, Monte

Now that your coming off the luvox your need for the benzos might be less.

Hi you may be right. I also found out today from the pharmacist that lunesta should be prn. And the two months will take 3 days to get out of my body. So many changes three docs the synthroid, off luvox, him wanting me to do it so fast. You know I never thought luvox did anthing now I'm not sure. Do you know if it's true that if you get no side effects starting a med that it is the right one as that is what happened to me with luvox. I only got to l50mg for a few day. Love Jan

Another possibility could be some depression reemerging as over sleeping is a sign of that.

You know I never thought luvox did anthing now I'm not sure.

This is often a classic reaction to SSRIs -- they take a long time to take effect depending on the agent, if you adjust to them you may begin to wonder what it is for, and then you go off them and you realize that you had dysthymia or anxiety that was being addressed. Its been my experience anyway.

It isn't necessarily a sign, no -- I mean I don't think I had any side effects in several trials of Depakote but I don't think the AED contributed to what ails me. I don't really have much by way of side effects with Neurontin.

Why did you go off Luvox? It wasn't helping with depression?

Jay new pdoc doesn't think I need an antidepressant thinks it's all anxiety related to my thyroid I have some wierd auto antigen that gives me both Grave and hasimotos. Love Phillipa Got the real deal today the brand name long acting xanax. I know how you feel about generics this is the only med that the generic makes the difference between it working or not all other meds are generic. Love Phillipa

sleeping in is not good for those of us with anxiety. those early morning disturbing dreams and the secondary anxiety waking you for moments and whispering "something is very wrong dear because you are not getting out of bed." at least that is what happens to me. perhaps it's the long release xanax?
i sometimes take xanax (generic) to sleep every now and then in order to save a few extra ambien for very bad nights.
the xanax makes me sleep long but not well. makes it difficult to wake up
good luck.
