Does anyone do this? Are the side effects horrible?
I am on mega doses pf neurontin and klomopin, which work, but leave me feeling like a moron.
My AD is parnate, which is tough for me, but I don't think I want to go on a TCA as an AD...I gained enough weight from remeron and then nardil.
Thanks,
Diane

In some circumstances the side effects of the TCA's are overrated. I found them much more tollerable than the SSRI's.
I would think a low dose TCA would probably be tollerable. It would also depend on which GAD symtpoms are most prominant.

maybe you should try tapering the neurontin. Klonopin isn't exactly a smart drug--it made me feel kind of dumb--but neurontin is *the* zombie-maker. Maybe instead of a tca, you could do low-dose cymbalta or effexor? They're tca-ish, but tolerable. Adding in Provigil might help if you feel slowed down on klonopin.
