I have experienced Prozac Mania, i can say that it feels good, but with agaitation, anger, psychosis, hearing things, especially if your already hypomanic. Increased Energy, come across "intense" personality wise. Not an amphetamine stimulation, its like your alive, too alive, its liek you dont want to be this alive, too irrtible with life, but i cant really explain it.

OK so Scientology has an agenda which is anti Psychiatry. Bearing that in mind it is not DANGEROUS to read what they have to say. Whether you believe any of it is a question for you. I am faintly amused by the Scientology PHOBIA which seems to exist in the USA. I have never been to a Scientology meeting (despite numerous invitations) and wouldn't consider going to one. I might be tempted to read what they have to say on psychiatry but that is as far as it goes. Occasionally they do make a valid point which is in the realm of public knowledge in any case. But it doesn't hurt to be reminded sometimes.

I can't speak for all psychopharmacologists, but the one I saw back in the 1980's knew about it & my present one does.

No one responded to my post on social about the CCHR outfit, so I shall repost it here. It bears repeating, I think.
(William Burroughs was a scientologist, wasn't he, so it can't be all bad.) Anyway......26 people died and no one knows how many were injured by deep sleep therapy at Chelmsford Private Hospital over a 10 year period in the 60s and 70s in Sydney, Australia. This CCHR outfit was an important part of the struggle to prevent this sort of thing continuing.
The main bloke, Dr Harry Bailey committed suicide and 2 other doctors were deregistered.
There had to be a Royal Commission to find out how this had been allowed to happen.

On the related subject of medical arrogance (I suppose it is) recently a doctor in Bundaberg eventually had the whistle blown on him when the nurses became alarmed that he was going to a roadside accident without an anaethetist.....they really feared he was going to cut somone up while they were concious. I kid you not. People had details to frightful to mention in polite company. I think the idea is 30 or so deaths, I forget, with 100 being tops.

but you know that assisted suicide is a
legally contentious issue-- i think Sweden
is preparing to legalize it for degenerative

It shouldn't be up to me (in this 'experiment'), to construct the control group, but anyway....
You don't have to have your brain assaulted by industrial quantities of barbiturates so you can forget your troubles for a bit, lying around naked on life support.
You are one of the lucky ones.
You get to go to a really good Chinese herbalist.
Or maybe you get to go to Bolivia so you can chew coca leaf in the market place (room service prepaid).
