I'm VERY happy with my valium btw, for all those who recommendet it (phillipa and quintal i believe). So thanks for the good help, it's a great medicine!

yeah...20mgs is pretty standard; you can go higher or lower and still be in the "normal" range.

So 5 mg of Valium would be a pretty low dose and after taking it for only 6 weeks should not present any problems with withdrawal? Can you suggest a w/d schedule please med_empowered? I was going to go with 4 mg, 3 mg, 2 mg and 1 mg over the space of four weeks or is this over-cautious? Sorry for hijacking your thread Mr Brice.

I take 6mg of Xanax, thats the max. Well actually 10mg per day is. For nuertoic anxiety, and panic attacks which i have bad.
2mg X 3 daily.
That is a hard dose.
20mg a day, thats like taking 1mg X 2 daily of Xanax.
Its not that much.
40-60mg per day would be considered a high dose.

Quite, unless you're on a high dose regime like I am for a particular purpose. Fairly exceeds that and I am a fast metabolizer as well, although we are reducing it a bit.
