short success story

I met somebody on xanax (benzo) on per needed use. She's not cured but has her panic under control. When I looked in her face I thought she's happy, very talkative to me and this IMO in a good manner. Her friend doesn't know anything about psychology and meds etc.

Great to hear are you planning on seeing her again? I took xanax for years and no addiction problems just anxiety gone. Love Phillipa

I saw her twice. But I don't know if I'll see her again.

Drugs can work :-) and psychotherapy is always an option IMO.

ps. bought a light lamp (10000 lux, 70 watt) and put it next to my monitor since there's not so much sunshine sometimes for me. I always kick my *ss to go jogging in the forest, otherwise not much time left because of work (jogging good for health, endogenous morphines->cheers)

I just received it per postal service yesterday (Philips HF3309). I think sunshine, enough partial oxygen pressure (pO2) without dust and tweeting birds is best but if there's too less I thought why not a little bit more bright light next to my monitor. I'll tell you later :-)

I heard that there is a light box with blue light. It is said to be more effective. I really don't know about people's experiences or if the positive effects on mood is proven scientifically. No idea. Maybe somebody else knows more.
