Has anyone taken just 1 or 2mg. with effexor and gotten results? Please tell your experience.

I think I started on 5mg w/ effexor and am now up to 15. It did help me with treatment resistant depression (non-psychotic). I have not had any probs w/ side effects. I am typically a person who needs a lot of a med to get a response, so if you only need a little, 1-2mg may be enough. It is a good med.

im at 5mg and cant tell if its working, but i do notice i get ancy and frustrated, but im not sure if its from abilify or Lamictal which i started taking at the same time. anyone have similar side effects with the abilify. i was thinking of coming off it or increasing the dose to 10mg , doc wants me to increase the dose but im scared the side effects will get worse but then again it could work better. i dont know what to do..any suggestions?

My doc told me to start on 1mg. I didn't fine it did much and quikly went to 2mg, now 4 mg, its only been a week. I do find results at 4 mg, but now considering a little more.

Yes, I had akathisia on 5mg Abilify and had to quit it early because it got so bad. I didn't sleep for three days.
