I'm so-so. My mother is terrable.

She's only 55 but her condition is lousy. She's worse than her mother was at 90.

She's on:

Lithium: 1050
Risperidal: 2mg
Hydroxyzine
Bromazepam
Clonazepam
Flurazepam
Some blood pressure pill

Its discusting. She almost doesn't even know her own name. I personally think that the combination of lithium and risperidal is causing some sort of NMS. She got much worse after the increase in lithium.

She is just so trusting of the stupid psychiatrist. I tell them that I think the problem is due to overmedication, but nobody believes me.

Its hard for me to watch her disintigrate, when I feel that I could help.

Hi Linkadge.

I'm glad to see that you're OK.

Sorry to hear about your mother. It must be frustrating and sad.

The active metabolite of flurazepam has such a long half-life (80 hours), it really builds up in the body. It can make anyone's mind and body into mush. It is a disgusting drug.

Yes. Thanks.

I was not doing very well for a few months. Wellbutrin was making me feel significantly worse. That didn't surprise me. It had done that to me in the past on several occasions. What did surprise me is that I actually responded well to it when I first started taking it this time. These drugs can be so unpredictable. I think what made the difference this time is that I was taking Lamictal. I get the impression that Lamictal + Wellbutrin makes a good combination. There might be something going on there with dopamine.

Hope you are doing well.
