she is so pretty i have to show a picture.

http://mmcconathy87.tripod.com/matt_mcconathys_photo_album/index.album?i=24&s=1

the one with shorter hair. The other one to the left is a lawyer.

She has told me when she has had full blown mania that she has seen angelic eyes, angels, feeling that where really in a realm, talking to god, bough 3000 doller picaso paintings at NIGHT! like 3am.

She has been on medication but is mania really can be this severe. She told me that it can be similar to schizophenia because of the increased dopamine, intense thinking, many thoughts.

Does anyone relate to this?

I havent had mania this bad ever, i have had it to some degree.

Matt

Hey Matt

Does your cousin know you are posting her pic on this site? I wouldn't do it ...

But yes, Bipolar Type 1 comes with hallucinations of all sorts. Delusions of grandeur, excessive spending ... I've been there as the result of medication induced mania ... it's scary.

Take care.

Maxime

I was once on a 'date' with a guy who was having a really extreme mania that was bordering on psychosis. He was really scaring me. fortunately we were seeing a movie at home, and my little brother called his parents. they took him to the ER right away. apparently he had called me for the 'date' right after he had threatened to kill his mom with a kitchen knife. He called me from the park, said he was on a walk, would I like to come pick him up, and watch a movie together?

I haven't seen him since. I think his parents had to send him to live in a group home. He's in bad shape. poor guy. Anyways, it's because of a traumatic head injury. not that he was that balanced to start off with, but having one's brains jostled can do bad things.

Wait a second. When did you get the DX of rapid cycling bipolar? And if that's the case, please tell me you are not taking Prozac anymore.
