power of mania

Posted by rjlockhart on June 24, 2006, at 23:18:21

So intense, so fun, so interfeeling of infatuation, it keeps going.
stronger than amphetamine at times. All nuerotransmitters going. It feels great. I can sit and think about what i am going to do, feel in the "moment".

I do take Topamax for mania but sometimes it doesnt help. Zyprexa is a better calming aid.

Alprazolam (Xanax) sometimes intesifies, well doesnt exactly "wiff" it up. But doesnt calm it down, like Ativan. Xanax sometimes can make you feel euphoric, feeling good, calmed down but your mind is still going. I dont know if Alprazolam releases dopamine that makes everything feel.

Sometimes when i am VERY stress out it takes all the edge off but not the thoughts.

Dont know if Xanax is the best.

Anyways, can mania be beneficial at all?

Hi there. If you were experiencing true mania you would be able to do this "I can sit and think about what i am going to do, feel in the "moment"." So the next thing to do is to figure out what you are feeling or going through.

Mania is dangerous because each episode can get worse. But for some reason I don't think it's mania you are experiencing. Maybe some sort of enphoria????

I agree with Maxie. Matt you're not manic. Signs would be spending money you don't have, not needing to sleep and still feeling great, promiscuity, saying what ever you want to with no regueard for other's feeling. there are more Love Phillipa

you may be right. It could not be mania, maybe a slight form of it. Prozac 40mg has set off hypomania before, but it was not pleasant, very irritible, but feel i have to do everything. Ugh, i hate it.

I think what sometimes i experience is exitement.

Sorry my cat just jumped on the computer.... kitty.

That was random ignore it. ROFL

Anyways, Xanax is, well it doenst depress me as Klonopin (Clonazepam) did. I can communitate better, and feel ok. Xanax does release the anxiety but not, sometimes it produces a more stimulation. I have read articles that Alprazolam at low doses is stimulting. Like .5mg

When i try to make myself go manic is in social situations when im not talking. I just stay in my box. I want to release my mouth.

I really think i was just having maybe a simimania. When i do, well i do talk much more.

Anyways thats it.

THanks

Rj
