Nardil and feeling very irritated

Posted by cerebus on June 9, 2006, at 17:51:23

Started Nardil about 2 weeks ago, only taking 7.5mg at bedtime. Lately have felt very irritated and increase in anxiety. Has anyone experienced this before, or do you think it still has not affected my system. Please any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks.

the amount your taking really isn't enough to do much of anything to you.

I agree with Deuce224. 7.5mg is probably not enough Nardil to provide any MAO inhibition. However, everyone has different reactions to medications, so it is possible to have side effects that other people would not experience. I started Nardil again about a month ago with a rapid titration to 90mg. Irritation and anxiety are not side effects that I experience from Nardil. I take Nardil for major atypical depression and social anxiety. It is the only medication that has worked for me in the past.
Good Luck,
Jedi
