I believe the 10 mg tablets are only available in generic. Can anyone comment on them?

>I took the ones made by Par Pharmaceuticals about 18 months ago along with 20mg generic capsules (Teva or Sandoz, I can't remember) to make a 30mg dose.
Adding the Par pills did improve my mood, so they probably have at least some fluoxetine in them :)

Hi Saturn
>I believe the 10 mg tablets are only available in generic.
There's also a Prozac 10mg tablet in the US. According to Lilly, the manufacturer, it's green, elliptical, and half-scored. PROZAC 10 is debossed on the opposite side of the tablet.

I take 15 mg and it seems to be working well and so far has left the rest of body plumbing intact.:>} I take it for panic disorder along with 150 mg Wellbutrin and 0.75 mg Klonopin. Plus I'm trying to get an hour of aerobic exercise in every day (which while I'm doing it makes me feel depressed/fearful, which has never happened to me before). More than you want to know, I'll bet!

Do you attribute this to the meds?

Hi Bass
I think the 10mg tabs must be useful because they're scored and so you can easily take 5mg, 10mg or 15mg per day.

No-I've had this before with panic, somehow the exercise makes thing dramatically worse until after I've finished running and cooled down a bit. I attribute it to being undermedicated or overly panicky...

I love scored tablets-I can break them into little pieces using my fingers, a pill cutter, re-scoring them with a razor, etc. Then I guess how many of the little pieces make a half. :>} Sometimes I think I'd be better off with a hammer...

Or maybe a liquid you can measure out with an oral syringe?

I do that, too...but the liquid costs $245 (120 mL) here in the US. I figure Prozac has such a long half-life, it probably doesn't matter when or how I take it, except on average. Xanax tablets break perfectly every time, of course. :>}

That's true. Prozac liquid isn't really necessary, as it is for some drugs.
